What are the Requirements for Obtaining a Virtual License in Dubai?

  1. The applicant must reside outside UAE. The UAE residents cannot be applicants for the license. 
  2. The company owner in Dubai must be a citizen or tax resident from any of the 101 approved countries.   3. Only business activities from the pre-defined sectors can set up a virtual business in Dubai. Printing and advertising services, computer programming, and allied activities such as consulting; and design activities in fashion, jewelry, and interiors are among the specified sectors.

How to Apply For a Virtual Company License in Dubai?

1. Company Registration As Virtual.

Initially, register your company as a virtual company. You’ll have to provide information like your name, address, phone number, birth date, passport number, and any experience you’ve had with Dubai. It is also necessary for the owner to submit the company’s trade license name.

2. Submit the required documents.

The following documents have to be submitted:

  1. A copy of your passport
    (with more than 3 months till expiry)
  2. Address proof
    (any utility bill or official letter not more than 3 months old)
  3. Proof of tax resemblance
    (if you are not from the approved countries)
  4. The white backdrop for an up-to-date photograph
    (not more than 3 months old)

3. At VFS Global, verify your identity.

The owner must visit VFS Global for identity and passport verification in person after gaining authorization.

4. Do the Payment

After successfully validating the identification at VSF Global, owners will have to pay the license cost.
